GOP: The Battle Within
Washington D.C. (westernkansasnews.com) Political experts are wondering if there will be any lingering effects from Dave Brat’s upset win over House Republican leader Eric Cantor in the Virginia Primary. Congressman Tim Huelskamp made an appearance last weekend on Fox News’ Mike Huckabee show and says voters are just fed up.
Huelskamp who lost both his seats on the Ag and Budget Committees after disagreements with House Leadership is not worried that he did not fall in line with he was told to do.
Huelskamp says party leadership spends more time opposing the tea party than they do the President.
