Water Officials Will Hear From You

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Governor’s task force has come up with a first draft in its 50 year statewide vision for water.  Today Southwest Kansas has an opportunity to discuss what’s in the plan and specifically on how to keep the Ogallala Aquifer viable.

Tracey Streeter Director of the Kansas Water Office says conserving water isn’t the only thing they’ve looked at.

Today’s meetings are from 7-8:30am at Activities Center in Liberal; 11:30am-1pm at the Finney County 4H Building in Garden City and from 4:30 to 6pm at the Lane County 4H Building in Dighton.
