Abengoa Opens Hugoton Cellulosic Ethanol Plant

State and federal officials were on hand Friday to open the Abengoa Cellulosic Ethanol Plant. Plant Manager Danny Allison on how it works.

Governor Sam Brownback eagerly anticipates what the facility will mean.

The new plant will employ up to 180 workers. US Senator Pat Roberts has a strong belief in all this facility and its workers will achieve.

US Secretary of Energy Doctor Ernest Moniz knows the plant is an example of the Obama Administration’s firm commitment to improving lives though encouraging development in several areas.

Abengoa’s facility is one of 12 cellulosic ethanol plants either in operation or construction throughout the US.
