(westernkansasnews.com) The governor’s, US Senate and House races are generating the most interest, but there are a few local issues on the ballot. Stanton County schools have their 25 year bond issue for an additional 18 mills. A larger bond issue was voted down in April.
There are county commission races in Seward, Stanton, Grant and Lane Counties. Greeley County will vote on three members to serve on their district board of supervisors. Wichita County will ask if voters want to combine two school districts into one.
