Funding Still the Big Question For Star Bond Soccer Project
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The partnership between Sporting KC of Major League Soccer and Garden City has been warmly received, but details of financing the Star Bond is getting more scrutiny. City Manager Matt Allen knows tying all the loose ends comes down to money.
The Star Bond encompasses a significant amount of property to be used for building a new training facility and practice fields.
All together up to 275 acres would be used for the project.
