Mary G. Roach
Mary G. Roach, 84, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her home in Liberal, KS.
She was born March 22, 1930 at Roswell, NM, the daughter of Pierre and Vivienne (Palmer) Louissena.
She married William W. Roach in Ft. Worth, TX. He preceded her in death.
Mary attended Roswell High School and was a graduate of Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX. She and her husband were Sheep Ranchers near Tatum, NM owning and operating the Llano Estecado Ranch for 40+ years until they retired in 1990. Mary enjoyed livestock and collecting sheep figurines. She was a member of New Mexico Wool Growers Assoc.
She is survived by one son- William Roach Jr. and wife Heather of Liberal, KS; three grandsons- William W. Roach, III of Guymon, OK, Zachary M Roach of Hooker, OK, Trae Roach of Liberal, KS; granddaughter- Ember Cothron of Liberal, KS; two great-grandsons- Baylor P Roach and Noland W Roach of Guymon, OK.
A meet & greet of friends and family will be 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM January 24, 2015 at 405 Yale Street in Liberal, KS
