Phyllis Ann Long, age 71, passed away on January 28, 2015 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on May 29, 1943 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Gene and Madelene Gish Holloway. A resident of the Scott City community since moving from Hays, Kansas in 1967, she was a secretary for Blick’s Inc. for 25 years and then retired from working at Suzy B’s Flowers and Gifts in January of 2015.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas.

On November 27, 1968 she married Greg Long in Scott City, Kansas. He survives.

Other Survivors include: Two Sons Robert and Karen Long of Pratt, Kansas, Thomas and Melissa Long of Wichita, Kansas. One Brother Kirk and Desiree Holloway of Wichita, Kansas. Two Sisters Kyle and Chris Carroll of Scott City, Kansas, Tracey and Terry Richmeier of Scott City, Kansas. Two Sister-in-Laws Linda Robertson of Montezuma, Kansas, Marsha Holloway of Scott City, Kansas. Four Grandchildren, Two Great-GrandChildren, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Ronald Holloway and Kim Holloway.
