Garden City PD on Lookout For Shooting Suspect

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)  Police are on the lookout for a man wanted for attempted murder in a shooting Tuesday night at the corner of 8th and West Jones Ave.  

The victim 64 year old Raul Tapia of Garden City was approached by a young Hispanic man driving a dark colored pickup shortly before 11pm.  Tapia was told to stop and when he exited his vehicle that’s when the suspect began shooting.  Tapia was transported to Wichita for treatment of his injuries.  

Anyone with information is asked to call Garden City Police.
