Santos Molina, age 81, of Johnson, Kansas, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson, Kansas. She was born January 30, 1934 in Tres Castillos Chihuahua Mexico, the daughter of Cayetano Molina Rodriguez and Petra Ramos Cardenas.
Mrs. Molina attended school in Mexico. She lived in Denver, Ft. Collins, and Broomfield, Colorado. She worked in housekeeping for IBM and worked at a turkey factory plant. After she moved to Kansas, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Johnson.
She is survived by one son; Carlos Molina and wife Rosalinda of Ft. Collins, Colorado; one daughter, Luz Maria Palma and husband Justino of Johnson, Kansas; one brother, Manuel Molina of Longmont, Colorado; two sisters, Guadalupe Molina and Antonia Molina both of Longmont, Colorado; and four grandchildren, Gabriel Palma, Novia Molina, Youana Molina, and Kwiona Molina.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Cayetano Molina Junior.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson, Kansas with Father Peter Fernandez presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mexico. Friends may call Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson, Kansas.
