Clarence Penner, 92, died March 6, 2015 at The Shepherd’s Center in Cimarron. He was born on February 11, 1923 at Ingalls, the son of Abe and Katie (Gaede) Penner. 

Mr. Penner graduated from Ingalls High School and immediately began a successful farming career. He married Ann Thiessen on October 14, 1945 at Inman. Clarence served on the Ingalls school board for 10 years, sold Dekalb seed for 40 years, and was very involved in Valleyview Bible Church as an elder, songleader, Sunday school teacher and various other church activities. 

Clarence is survived by his wife, Ann Penner of Ingalls; four sons, Dennis Penner and wife Marilyn of Cimarron, Ron Penner and wife Fran of Fresno, CA, Ken Penner and wife Jackie of Garden City, Bob Penner and wife Liz of Ingalls; two daughters, Marlene Fast of Hillsboro, Laura Dutra and husband Rick of Kingsburg, CA; two sisters, Elfreda Fast and Ruth Neufeld both Hillsboro; 18 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be held at Valleyview Bible Church in Cimarron on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Ron Penner and Rev. Matthew Hamilton presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. There will be no public visitation. Memorials are suggested to Valleyview Bible Church or Tabor College in care of the funeral home.
