Companies Banking on Future of CNG

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Depending on the market demand it could be the wave of the future or a flash in the pan. There is some demand right now for turning buses and other vehicles from ones the run on conventional fuel to Compressed Natural Gas. Lanny Waggoner with Fuel Conversion Solutions was one of the presenters at the monthly Garden City Chamber breakfast.

Some vehicles could take up to 45-thousand dollars to convert.

Sparq Energy is banking on enough demand for CNG by opening up a station in the next few months at The U Pump It on Fulton and Kansas Ave in Garden City.
