Dr. Atha Lands New Job
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) USD 457 Superintendent Dr. Rick Atha has been hired on to become the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services for Shawnee Mission Schools, the third largest school district in the state. Atha tenured his resignation after 10 years leading Garden City schools saying he and his wife wanted to live closer to their families. Atha will continue to serve as Superintendent in Garden City until June 30th.
