Jennings: Growing Divide in Legislature

Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There is a widening division during this year’s legislative session and it does not just involve the issue of school funding. Moving local elections, concealed carry without a permit and higher taxation of farmland all have been issues where the battle lines have been drawn between east and west.

Sad part is Representative Russ Jennings of Lakin believes even if some divisive issues are defeated it will not be the last time we will see them.
