Donna J. Eitel, age 81, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 9, 1934 in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Frank Brice and Lena M. Brown Sperling. She was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1943 moving from Lamar, Colorado and was a Nurse’s Aid, Lab Technician, Mother and Housewife.

Her memberships include the First United Methodist Church and Women on Mission at the Immanuel Baptist Church both of Scott City, Kansas.

On February 12, 1973 she married Marvin E. Eitel at the Camp Lake Side Chapel in Scott County, Kansas. He passed away on May 23, 2004 in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors Include her Four Daughters – Jynette & Phil Gibbs of Scott City, Kansas, Susan Wiechman of Scott City, Kansas, Kendra & Brett Kendrick of Scott City, Kansas, Denise & Melvin Murphy of Scott City, Kansas, One Step Daughter – Janet Hyatt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, One Step Son – Gary & Deandra Eitel of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister – Norma Thomas of Garden City, Kansas, One Brother In Law – Leo Wren, Eleven Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Sisters – Mary Lee Telander and Ilene Wren, One Son in Law – Gordon Wiechman and Two Brothers In Law – Kenneth Thomas and James T. Telander.

Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 with Rev. Dennis Carter presiding.

Memorials may be given to the Scott County EMT’s, United Methodist Church or Golden Rule Preschool % Price & Sons Funeral Homes.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
