Helen Hoover

Helen Hoover, 82, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. She was born August 17, 1932 in Liberal to parents John & Elizabeth (Shield) Kaberlein. She married Paul C. Hoover on August 1, 1959 at Plains.

She was a member of St Dominic Catholic Church of Garden City.

Helen graduated from the St Catherine Nursing School as a Registered Nurse. She worked for Dr. Campion in Liberal as a Clinic Nurse for 10 years. After her marriage she and her husband owned and operated Hoover’s Fashions in downtown Garden City for 27 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the clothing shows, and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her Parents & 1 Sister- Lorraine Lanzrath.
