Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Cargill has announced that it is closing its animal nutrition business in Garden City and moving operations for that part of their company to the facility in Guymon, Oklahoma. The move is expected to affect 10 positions in Garden.
The company cited changes in market conditions and customer needs as a reason for the shutdown. Closing the facility will take place at the end of August. Cargill says it will work to find other opportunities in the company for those working at the Garden City plant.
