El Dorado Hammers Dodge City

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-David Flores was hoping Monday night’s offensive struggles were a thing of the past. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case 24 hours later.

El Dorado hurler Adam Keller was sensational on the bump, tossing a complete-game, four-hit shutout in a 13-0 victory at Cavalier Field.

The Broncos scored in every inning but the first, fifth and sixth.

As for Dodge City’s offense, besides an Alex Aguilar single to lead off the ninth, sprinkled in with base knocks by Matt Haggerty in the seventh; Robbie Glendinning in the sixth and Luke Becker in the fifth, there wasn’t much to get excited about.

Dodge City starter Chad Christianson lasted only four innings, allowing seven runs on six hits, including two home runs.
