Exhibit Gives Children Insight into Healthy Eating
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The old adage is you are what you eat and Tuesday at Florence Wilson Elementary School children were involved in an interactive display called “Body Venture” that detailed why it is important to eat healthy. Tracey Johnson, Nutrition Services Director with USD 457 in Garden City on how they attempted to get the message across.
The display reinforced the message that healthy food benefits the body.
Wednesday the exhibit moved to Liberal.
