Three Year Old Girl Drowns at Weekend Birthday Party
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police report a three old girl drowned during a birthday party Sunday night on the 2000 block of Cherokee Road. Officers have identified the girl as Chloe Berry. Family members attempted to perform CPR on Berry, efforts to save her life continued as she was transported to St. Catherine Hospital, but were unsuccessful.
Berry was swimming with other children at the time and attendees only discovered the girl was in the pool when Berry did not return to the house with the other children. Police continue to investigate.

In other news, early Sunday morning around 1 Garden City Police officers found a man wrecked his Nissan 350Z into a tree on the 2000 block of North Eighth Street. 20 year old Erik Mora-Vallejo was found unconscious on scene. Mora-Vallejo has been booked into the Finney County jail and is expected to be charged with a DUI.
