Dodge City to host Legion Sub-State Tournament

Dodge City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Hard to believe it’s that time of the year, but Wednesday and Thursday, Dodge City will play host to the 2015 AAA American Legion Sub-State Baseball Tournament.

Four teams will try for the top two spots at the state tournament.

Garden City (24-4) is the top seed, and will face fourth seed Great Bend (20-18) at 2 pm Wednesday, Dodge City (28-12) is the third seed, and will face Russell (24-6), the second seed, at 4:30. 

The losers of the first two games will play at 7 pm Wednesday evening in an elimination game. Two more games will take place at 4 and 6:30 Thursday.
