Ray Manuel Barco
Ray Manuel Barco, age 30, of Elkhart, Kansas died July 5, 2015. He was born February 9, 1985 in Guymon, Oklahoma the son of Manuel and Rosario (Mares) Barco.
Ray graduated from Yarbrough High School in 2003. During high school, he participated in all sports, enjoying basketball and baseball the most. He was the long jump state champion, 6th in the 100 meter dash, 2nd in the 200 meter dash, at state track. He attended OPSU and ITT Tech. Ray played baseball at OPSU. He enjoyed playing golf, baseball and softball.
Survivors include his daughter, Julia Ray Barco of Elkhart, Kansas; two sons, Jaedon Ray Barco and Jordan Elias Barco both of Elkhart, Kansas; father, Manuel Barco of Elkhart, Kansas; mother, Rosario Barco of Elkhart, Kansas; siblings, Erica Barco of Guymon, Oklahoma, Manuel Barco Jr. of Guymon, Oklahoma, Karina Barco of Guymon, Oklahoma, Jorge Barco Hernandez of Mexico, Hugo Cesar Barco Hernandez of Mexico; grandmother, Maria De La Rosa of Mexico; and two nephews, Aidan Alexander Gonzalez and Xander Axel Casas.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Yarbrough School in Yarbrough, Oklahoma with Reverend Frances Khoi Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
