Southwest Kansas Fireworks Displays

(westernkansasnews.com) Where do you go to celebrate the 4th of July?  Here is a list of place to go and some of the best viewing spots. Most firework shows begin either at 10 or dusk.

Garden City: Finney County Fairgrounds, fireworks start at 9:45

Dodge City: most people park at Civic Center lot or at Memorial Stadium next door

Scott City: open field on the east end of town

Lakin: North Ball Complex on K25

Leoti: vacant lot on K-25 east of town

Syracuse: one mile south of town at Sam’s Pond

Ulysses: behind the Grant County Civic Center

Hugoton: south side of town; many people view at high school football field
