State Unemployment Remains Around Four and a Half Percent

(westernkansasnews.com) The state’s unemployment numbers took a slight uptick in June at 4.5 percent up from the the 4.4 percent in May. State Secretary of Labor Lana Gordon zeroes in on how June’s report indicates the health of the state economy.

 

 

The Kansas Department of Labor reports 12,300 private sector jobs were added over the last year. Unemployment figures remain unchanged from a year ago.
