KHI Report: Substantially More Kansans Insured Under ACA, Obamacare
(westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Health Institute released a report last week that said 57-thousand more Kansans now have health insurance over the past year. KHI President and CEO Bob St. Peter attributes this latest development to the Affordable Care Act doing what it is intended to do.
Despite this success St. Peter says the debate over quality of care is far from over.
St. Peter believes we reached the point of no return when it comes to looking for an alternative.
St. Peter is convinced Republican presidential candidates wanting to do away with the ACA are more in line with a political ideology than something that is practical.
