The Red Demons scored six goals in the first half and two in the first ten minutes of the match to rout Wichita South in the season opener 7-0 at Memorial Stadium. For Dodge City Head Coach Saul Hernandez he wins his first game at his alma mater and in a contest where seven different players scored.
Senior Leonel Lopez was one of the seven players who knocked in a goal. Lopez and his team are pleased with their ability to attack the net.
Monday the Red Demons travel to play in the Bishop Carroll tourney.
