Chester E. Hall, 95, died October 16, 2015 at the Kansas Soldiers Home, Ft Dodge. He was born on July 12, 1920 at Summersville, Missouri the son of William P. and Bertha E. (Bilbrey) Hall. 

On February 24, 1938 he married Betty Cole at Newkirk, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2005. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Chester worked for SW Bell and later for the State of Kansas Grain Department for 20 Years. 

He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Dodge City, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. 

Chester is survived by his daughter, Margaret Beason and husband Dean of Dodge City; three grandchildren, Michael D. Beason of Beaufort, South Carolina, Deborah K. Lapka of Dodge City, and Kathy L. Renfrow of Lacrosse; nine great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. 

Memorial service will be held at the Kansas Soldiers Home Chapel on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tyler Ball presiding. Inurnment will follow at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery at Ft. Dodge with military honors by Howard Gotschall Post#1714, V.F.W. and KSARNG Military Honors.
