GCHS soccer demolishes TMP

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Monday was a breath of fresh air for Garden City High School soccer.

After playing two weeks worth of close matches, the Buffaloes finally were able to pull away, shutting out TMP 7-0 at home.

Gilberto Tovar and Miguel Hernandez each scored two goals apiece.

Garden City scored three goals in the first half and four in the second. But the most impressive stat of the night did not come on the offensive end. The Buffaloes did not allow a shot on goal (Garden City 20 shots; TMP 0).
