List of This Year’s Crystal Apple Finalists

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The finalist for the coveted Crystal Apple Award honoring Finney County’s finest teachers have been announced.  The award in its 20th year is sponsored by the Garden City Chamber of Commerce.

Among the six vying for this award include Jesse Bernal and Lyle Sobba of Garden City High School; Dawn Lunzmann at Kenneth Henderson; Barbara Ann Mercer of Buffalo Jones Elementary; Lana Ratliff, Holcomb Middle School and Roger Reed, Charles O. Stones Intermediate. Winners will be announced at the Crystal Apple Banquet November 19th from the Clarion Inn.
