Scrimmage Becomes Final Prep For DCHS Basketball Opener

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) One thing was sure about Tuesday night’s intra-squad scrimmage for the Dodge City High School Basketball team at the Fieldhouse.  The Demons were sure to win.  It did give an indication about where the team stands in preparing for their season opener Saturday against Junction City.

For the girls passing and unselfish play were on display.  Junior guard Tia Bradshaw took her time to get focus on what she does best, driving to the hoop.

Girls Coach Kelley Snodgrass says she was genuinely pleased with what she saw.

In the guys game, Dodge City was able to get more experience with their zone an area where post player Noah Williams and his teammates are gaining confidence.

Coach Dennis Hamilton thinks his team passed their first test.

It all begins Saturday when Dodge City hosts Junction City.  Pre-game is at 2:15.  Girls tip at 2:30 with the guys game starting at 4 on Z98 and westernkansasnews.com from the Dodge City Fieldhouse.
