Police Instruct Children Through Student Academy
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) This weekend the Garden City Police Department will begin their Student Police Academy. This is where kids learn almost everything they can about what Police do in their job on a daily basis. With so much negativity being generated about officers now days, Police Training Coordinator EJ Ochs says it is nice to build a solid bond with the next generation.
The course will lasts the next two months and be held every Saturday from the law enforcement center.
