Pot Usage Believed to Have Caused Wednesday Accident

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police say Wednesday morning’s wreck involving a Ford Focus and semi at E. Mary and US 83 in Garden City was a DUI accident.  Officers report seizing several grams of suspected pot in a search of the car.

All three occupants are from Colorado Springs. Two were treated for minor injuries. 29 year old Matthew Kobilan was taken by helicopter to a Denver area hospital.   The suspects were all reportedly in route to Memphis.
