Lady Buffs soccer blanks Ark City; moves to 2-0

Goddard, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Last year’s slow start is far behind Joaquin Padilla’s team. 

If nothing else, Monday’s match proved that. 

Tiffany Butler and Amber Miller scored goals, and the Buffalo defense recorded their second straight shutout with a 2-0 win over Arkansas City Monday night in the opening round of the Goddard Invitational. 

The Buffaloes will play Thursday against the winner of the Goddard/Buhler match.
