Joyce E. Larman, 77, died April 26, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society of Dodge City. She was born on March 9, 1939 at Pueblo, Colorado the daughter of Roy and Lola (Lamb) Swartz.

Joyce grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and attended schools there. On April 18, 1959 she married Maurice Larman and they recently celebrated their 57th anniversary. They have been residents of Dodge City since March of 1981. She worked for the Dodge City school district and later for Ft. Dodge in the food service program. Joyce enjoyed bowling, and especially enjoyed her family and grandchildren.

She was a member of Howard Gotschall Post #1714, V.F.W. Women’s Auxilary and the Dodge City Women’s Bowling Association both of Dodge City. 

Joyce is survived by her husband Maurice Larman, Dodge City; three sons, Don and wife Renee Larman, Bobby Larman and Ken Larman, all of Dodge City; two daughters, Charleen Gonzales and husband Jerry Foskuhl, Dodge City, and Debbie Nuci and husband John of Gridley, Kansas a brother Richard Swartz, Arizona and a sister, Linda Wroten, Pueblo, Colorado; a an adoptive son, Donnie Clare, Dodge City, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dale Swartz a sister Carol Dace and six great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery in Ft. Dodge. Memorials are suggested to Multiple Sclerosis or to Muscular Dystrophy both in care of the funeral home.
