Lady Beaver softball wins two lopsided games at Lakin

Lakin, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–After picking up a pair of big wins against Elkhart on Monday, the Scott City Lady Beaver softball team continued their winning ways on Tuesday at Lakin. Lakin scored only two runs that inning, ending the game after three innings. Madison Orr had two hits and drove in four runs, including a home run in the game. Kaitlyn Roberts picked up the win, giving up two runs in three innings.

Lakin scored their only run in the third inning. Scott City connected on 15 hits in the second game en route to their eighth straight win.

Scott City is now 8-2 on the season, and will host Colby on Friday for a doubleheader, while Lakin drops to 1-11 on the season, and visits Ulysses on Friday.
