Adjutant General to Share Big News at GCCC Commencement

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) As Garden City Community College holds its annual graduation commencement Friday night the speaker Adjutant General Lee Tafanelli wants students to expand their opportunity for learning beyond the classroom.

Tafanelli will also announce the intention of the Kansas National Guard to begin a new partnership with the college.

The National Guard presence at GCCC will be the nation’s first with the goal of increasing enrollment to the college and informing students of the rewards in serving with the National Guard.
