Motorcycle Accident Claims Lives of Man and Woman From Meade
Laverne, OK (westernkansasnews.com) A man and a woman from Meade have been killed in a holiday weekend motorcycle accident just north of Laverne, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 63 year old Bill Meggenberg died at the scene of the Saturday afternoon accident on Highway 64 north of town.
70-year-old Susan Meggenberg died a short time later after being rushed to an Oklahoma City hospital. Police say a deflated tire gave way prompting the motorcycle to overturn several times.
