Sheriff Bascue: Man Shot Dead Sunday; No Bond For Suspects

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Finney County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the shooting death of a 22 year old man from Garden City Sunday afternoon around 3.   Authorities say the victim identified as Richard Lyons was shot while in his vehicle on the 5800 block of East Mansfield Road.  Officers have taken both suspects Felix Sanchez and Rodolfo Garcia into custody.  They are being held without bond on the charge of first degree murder.

The Finney County Sheriff’s Department have arrested two people for the first degree murder of 22 year old Richard Lyons of Garden City Sunday afternoon around 3.  Authorities have accused Felix Sanchez and Rodolfo Garcia of killing Lyons with a gun while in his own vehicle on the 5800 block of East Mansfield Road.  The suspects are being held without bond in the Finney County jail.
