After her marriage, May moved to Lane County with her husband. There she raised her children and helped her husband on the farm. She was active in her church and community. She was a 4-H leader, belonged to an EHU club and enjoyed playing cards with the Card Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, Hazel Sisco & Leona Minks and 2 brothers, Louis (Buddy) Minks & Lee Roy Minks.
