KHP: Announces Finney County Sobriety Checkpoint

(westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Highway Patrol will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint at an unannounced time sometime between Friday, June 10 and Sunday, June 12th on a major roadway or highway in Finney County.  The goal of the checkpoint is to remove alcohol impaired drivers from the roads.   Checkpoints occur periodically during the year.  A reminder it is also a good idea to wear your seatbelt in addition to obeying all the other traffic laws.
