Man’s Decomposed Body Found Hanging in Tree; Investigation Launched
Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Seward County Sheriff’s Department are investigating after the discovery of a man’s body hanging from a tree. Sheriff Bill McBryde says the body was found just west of town and was badly decomposed. The body was wrapped up in a heavy coat.
A person found the man’s body when his dog alerted him while he was mowing. Authorities believe the person killed themselves. No other information has been released.
