Salzman Ready For Next Step in Becoming Ford County Attorney

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) He has been commuting back and forth from Dodge City to his job as the Assistant Attorney in Pawnee County.  That will soon change for Kevin Salzman after recently defeating Natalie Randall in the Republican Primary for Ford County Attorney.

Salzman understands the tremendous responsibility of the office he is about to take over.

The 33 year old graduated law school from St. Louis University and has worked eight years in some capacity with several prosecutor’s offices.  There’s typically a lot of controversy when it comes to a prosecutor entering into a plea bargain with a defendant.  Salzman believes plea bargains serve some purpose.

Plea Bargains can help victims find some sense of closure without going through the strain of a jury trial.
