Ray M. Clemons
Ray M. Clemons,64 , died September 29, 2016 at his residence in Dodge City. He was born on July 3, 1952 at Davenport, Iowa the son of Richard H. and Kathryn (McGuire) Clemons.
He enjoyed working on cars and going fishing and spending time with his friends and family and especially his best friend Rusty the dog. Ray served his country as a Army Ranger during the Vietnam War, receiving a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He also worked as a repairman for Pitney Bowes for several years.
He is survived by two sons Tyrel Clemons of Spearville; Seth Gingerich of Lawrence; one daughter Sheena Gingerich of Dodge City. Ray is also survived by six grandchildren Brittaney Clemons, Brody, Emerie, Drayton, Serik and Gavin Gingerich.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ricke Clemons and one son Shane Clemons.
Family will receive friends at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
