Ulysses boys finish runner-up at 4A Regional Cross Country; Scott City sends three to state

Hays, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–You couldn’t have asked for any better weather on Saturday’s Class 4A Regional Cross Country meet at Sand Plum Course just outside Victoria. With temperatures in the 50’s and sunny conditions, the course was seemed fast for all the competitors. In the end, the Ulysses boys surprised the field, finishing runner-up in the boys race. The Lady Tigers also qualified one runner, while Scott City is sending three total runners.

Clay Center won the girls race while Smoky Valley cruised to the boys win. The Class 4A State Cross Country meet will be Saturday, October 29 in Wamego. The girls will run at 10:35 am and the boys will run at 12:20 pm.
