Teachers Face Another Hurdle Preparing Students For the Future
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There are many challenges teachers now face in the classroom, but one of them you might not have thought. Garden City High School English teacher Wendy Terpstra is a recent winner of the coveted Crystal Apple Award for being one of the three best teachers in Finney County. Terpstra also tailors her teaching to the skills her students might need in the future.
Terpstra says those studies can make any teacher think.
Even with this challenge Terpstra is balanced in her approach in some subject matter she will let students guide her where they want to go or where there interest lies.
