Pauline Bessie Taylor

Pauline Bessie Taylor, 86, passed away on April 21, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society, Dodge City.

She was born April 28, 1930 at Dodge City, Kansas. The daughter of William and Ada (Hood) Keith.

On November 12, 1955, she married Glenn “Chick” Taylor. He preceded her on January 3, 2009.

Pauline was a nurse’s aide for the Kansas Soldiers Home in Ft. Dodge, Kansas. She enjoyed crocheting, coloring, pets and loved to be around her all of her grandchildren.

Pauline is survived by 2 sons, William Max Taylor, Liberty, Missouri and Jack Joseph Taylor and Wife Shyrl, Ness City, Kansas; 2 daughters, Glenda Pauline Arellano and husband Samuel, Dodge City and Brenda Sue Wiswell and husband Scott, Valley Center, Kansas; honorary children, Henry Schlereth Jr. and wife Elthel, Spearville, Kansas, Betty Pauline Johnson and husband Richard, Garden City, Kansas, and Vicki Jean Peterson and husband Darrel, Dodge City; sister Betty Joan Unruh, Montezuma Kansas; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; special friend, Janice Scothorn, Jetmore, Kansas.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, James M. Keith, William L. Keith Jr. and Noble R. Keith; 2 sisters, Josephine Kreger and LaVeta Schlereth.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Dodge, with Rev. Dick Robbins officiating. Book signing will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. There will no viewing as cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Good Samaritan Society, Meals on Wheels or Ford County Humane Society all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
