T-21 Reflects on Their Achievement

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Satistified at accomplishing what they set out to do, the T-21 coalition a group of Garden City High School students was instrumental in getting the tobacco age for possession and purchasing of tobacco raised from 18 to 21. Hannah Schultz with the group feels their efforts will be compare to another drive that succeeded not long ago.

So will teens just go to Holcomb now to buy cigarettes? Schultz does not think they will habitually make the drive.

Still the group plans presentations to both the Holcomb city council and Finney County Commission.  The ordinance in Garden City takes effect July 1st.
