Greensburg Honors Fallen; Embraces Future 10 Years After Tornado

Greensburg, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Thursday night Greensburg remembers the ten years that had past since the EF-5 tornado that killed 11 and completely destroyed the town.  The names of the victims were read.

 

 

Mayor Bob Dixson believes the strength of Greensburg resolve shines through even today.

Sally Buckman lost her husband Tim a deputy who died in the line of duty while warning others in Stafford County of the tornado that struck Greensburg.

Former President George W. Bush delivered an inspiration video message.
