Minister Jorge Romeo Castaneda, age 54, died May 4, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was born September 26, 1962 in Playitas Morales Izabal, Guatemala the son of Cesar and Graciela (Archila) Castaneda.
After high school he studied Theology for three years in California and three years in Kansas.
In 1985 he married Maria Consuelo Grijalva in Mission Hill, California. She survives.
He was the pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God I.M. in Liberal, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his Father.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Pentecostal Church of God I.M. in Liberal, KS with Pastor Angel Enriquez presiding. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
