Record number of travelers for region this holiday

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) A record number of travelers are expected for the holidays.

Over 107 million Americans are expected to travel. 8.7 million in the West North Central Region, the largest number of travelers for the region on record for this holiday period.

The national gas price average is $2.43 a gallon the most expensive it’s been since 2014. The average price in Kansas is $2.25 per gallon; Kansas has the 11th cheapest average in the country.
