Drug Awareness Program Wednesday At Horace Good Middle School
Horace J. Good Middle School will host an informational meeting titled Improving Parents Education on Drugs and Effects (IMPEDE) regarding youth and drugs on Wednesday, February 28, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Courtyard, 1412 N. Main Street.
The Garden City Police Department will be doing the presentation and will cover drug use, laws and overall awareness. The design of the meeting is to help parents understand today’s current drug trends. It will also help parents recognize problems and allow them to intervene before addiction. There will be discussion on programs that are available in the local area to get expert help and treatment.
